• Microscope Slides / Coverglass / Mounting Media

  Our product portfolio consists of an array of colored, plain, charged, and adhesive slides. We offer microscope slides manufactured with square corner, clipped corner, and beveled edges. Our premier non-stick coverglass is an excellent solution for all automatic and manual coverslipping needs. We also offer a choice of four high quality mounting mediums packaged in pints for automatic coverslippers and dripper bottles for hand coverslipping.

• Processing Reagents / Solutions / Paraffins

  Surgipath Medical Industries manufactures the highest quality chemicals and paraffin that are ideal for anatomical pathology use. All products are manufactured under the strictest controls and formulated and filtered to exact specifications. Our alcohols, solvents, fixatives, decalcifier and paraffins are blended, designed and packaged to provide optimal histological and cytological results for all types of specimens. With our comprehensive product portfolio, Surgipath offers the end user the opportunity to select product(s) that work best for their laboratory.

• Cassettes / Base Molds / Accessories

  Our product portfolio includes a wide range of tissue processing, embedding, biopsy retention, and accessory products to meet the specific needs of your laboratory. Our cassettes include a wide assortment of styles and colors. Surgipath base molds offered include standard metal, disposable plastic and recyclable aluminum. Mesh biopsy bags, foam pads and blue tissue paper are designed to accommodate the smallest of tissue specimens.

• Stains

  Formulated and manufactured at Surgipath, H & E and cytology stains provide excellent results in clarity, cellular definition, with beautiful contrasting colors. A number of excellent special stain kits are also available in our portfolio.

• Storage Systems and Specimen Transport

  Surgipath Medical Industries provides a complete line of Slides and Block Storage Systems. From specimen transport bags to long term slide/block storage units, Surgipath provides a variety of economical alternatives to meet your specimen transport and storage requirements. Our large selection of various sizes of prefilled jars are individually labeled to conform to all current regulations. Custom prefilled jars containing our other unique fixatives are also available.

• Autopsy / Tissue Dissection Instruments / Microtome Blades

  Surgipath Medical Industries has designed a comprehensive array of Autopsy and Tissue Dissection Instruments. Our product portfolio ranges from ergonomically friendly designed instruments to a complete Autopsy Saw Filter System. Our microtome blades are of the highest quality for tissue microtomy. The microtome blade selection includes a high and low profile teflon coating that helps reduces friction and eliminates striations and compression.

• Cytology Accessories

  Our portfolio of cytology products includes a wide variety of cytological collection devices, cytology fixatives and cytology funnels. Collection devices include applicators, cervical scrapers, brushes, brooms and complete Pap Kits. Cytology fixatives include non aerosol and aerosol spray fixatives and 45 ml jars containing polyethylene glycol. Our cytofunnels are available in single and double configurations and are designed to work with the market leading cytology centrifuge, the Shandon CytoSpin Centrifuge.

• Safety Products / Hand Care Products

  Our Safety & Hand Care products were developed with your safety in mind to help reduce the risk of cuts, skin contamination, and breathing irritations . Products include nitrile and safety gloves, blunt tip and safety shield scalpels, and products to eliminate or reduce irritant chemical vapors found in histology and cytology labs.

• Labels

  Surgipath offers a wide selection of labels for the laboratory. Customers can choose from stock label items such as pinfed, safety and tape, and barcode labels. Labels can also be customized to meet specific laboratory needs. Custom labels may incorporate institution names or a specified pre-numbering sequence.

• Equipment / Accessories

  Surgipath has carefully selected a number of instruments to complement its consumable product line for the anatomical pathology lab. Surgipath Cassette and Slide printers have the distinction of being the first instruments introduced into the market for this purpose. Other equipment included in our product line are an Autopsy Saw, a modular Embedding Station, Fume Hoods, an Air Filtration System, small stainers, and Water Baths.

  Surgipath offers Preventative Maintenance Agreements, Extended Warranties, and an Elite Service Parts & Labor Plan to meet the needs of individual laboratories.
