  • How do I set up an account?

    Simply call our Customer Service Department toll free at (800) 225-3035 and we will forward you the new customer account form along with a credit reference sheet.  Fax the information back to us at (815) 678-2216, and we will begin setting up your account.  We will contact you when your account has been established.

  • Does Surgipath have a sales representative in my area?

    Surgipath has a sales representative in your area.  Simply go to our Contact Us page and enter your zip code to acquire specific information.

  • Can I search for a product by product name or item number?

    You can search by product name or item number by entering the product name or item number in the search box (at the top of every page) and clicking on "search".

  • How do I request a quotation?

    To request a quote, browse our products and add each requested item to your RFQ list. You can then submit your completed RFQ list and your local representative will contact you soon after submission.

  • How do I place an order, and what information do I need to place an order?

    Orders can be phoned or faxed in directly to Customer Service or you can inquire using the email request form.  In order to serve you in the most efficient manner, please provide your Surgipath customer account number, ship to location, Surgipath catalog item number, product description, and quantity required when placing your order.  For fax orders, we will fax you a confirming order number.

  • How do I follow up on my order when I need additonal information?

    To follow up on an order or for additional information, call our Customer Service department at (800) 225-3035.  Please have your account number and order tracking number available to expedite your inquiry.

  • What is a standing order and why is it advantageous to place a standing order?

    A standing order is a pre-placed order that is scheduled to release on a certain date specified by you, the customer.  By placing a standing order, you eliminate having to remember to place a new order with each new time period requirement.  Standing orders help assure your product will be available when you need it.  As an added plus, there are no penalties if you need to increase, decrease, or hold a standing order.

  • What are the standard sale terms and conditions?

    Net 30 days - FOB Richmond, IL  60071.  Freight pre-paid and added to invoice.

  • Does Surgipath have a minimum dollar order policy?

    Surgipath has no minimum dollar order policy except on custom manufactured products.

  • What shipping options does Surgipath offer?

    Surgipath will ship your order by Federal Express ground, UPS ground, or LTL common carrier truck line when required.  As a standard, we prepay and add the freight charges to your invoice.  Expedited and overnight shipments can be arranged, if required, at the customer's expense.  (NOTE:  For LTL shipments, please advise whether you have a dock available and if inside delivery is required). 

  • What is our return policy?

    Returned goods will be accepted with a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number assigned by our Customer Service Department.  Please call them at (800) 225-3035 and obtain this RGA number before attempting to return any product. Returns must be initiated within 60 days of the date of the original invoice.  A 25% restocking charge will be applied to all returns.  Custom or special order items are not returnable.

  • Does Surgipath have the ability to customize products?

    Surgipath currently manufactures custom printed microscope slides, custom labeled pre-filled specimen jars, custom printed labels, and other customized products.  Please contact your sales representative or customer service at (800) 225-3035 for further information on custom products. 

  • Are MSD sheets available upon request?

    MSD sheets may be requested by calling (800) 225-8867 Ext. 139.

  • What type of product warranty is standard with equipment purchases?

    A one year manufacturer's limited warranty is provided at no charge on all Surgipath equipment. 

  • Does Surgipath offer Service Agreements for equipment that is purchased?

    Surgipath offers three types of Service Agreements for equipment as follows:

    • Extended Warranties
    • Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PM)
    • Elite Service Plans

  • Does Surgipath offer leasing terms on equipment?

    Surgipath can make leasing options available through our company or will accept purchases of Surgipath equipment through other certified leasing companies. 

  • Does Surgipath offer an equipment loaner program?

    Surgipath will, when availability exists, offer the use of loaner equipment when service work is required to repair Surgipath equipment.  For more information, please call our Equipment Department at (800) 225-8867 Ext. 159. 

  • Does Surgipath sell demonstration, used, or refurbished equipment?

    Surgipath does not sell refurbished equipment, but we have in inventory Surgipath equipment from our sales force demo inventory and convention show stock which at times is available at reduced pricing.  This is based on availability and comes with our one year manufacturer's limited warranty.  Contact your local sales representative for details regarding availability.  You may also contact our Equipment Department at (800) 225-8867 Ext. 159 for additional assistance.
